NOV 2024 EVENTS
The number of events on busing and related topics show how strongly families feel about having long school bus routes, doubled up school bus routes, or no route at all. PIST believes in mutual support among all the organizers and participants, to get solutions for the short and long term.

Vote CCEC
NYC Citywide and Community #education council elections continue through May 9.
Vote for each schoolchild in your home to be represented in all relevant categories. Thanks to parent #advocacy, every council also gets a D75 rep.
Here are some candidates who advocate for special education, and for school bus rights. Names are grouped by community school district 1-32 [you can vote for each district where you have a student attending public school] and also the citywide council categories, which you can vote for if your student meets that category.

We begin with an outdoor event across from the United Nations in Dag Hammerskjold Park featuring DJ Crystal Clear and hosted by DJ Karamel. Then they will move the party online, where other talented DJs in various locations and time zones will play music to honor our children and support the fight for a School Bus Bill of Rights.
