Saturday September 9 
NYC Central Labor Council Parade for Unions, workers and families

• Before 10:00 a.m. - Gather at 44th St. between 6th and 5th.

• 10:15 a.m. - March with ATU 1181-1061 to 64th St. and 5th

• Later - Watch, and give flyers out to, other unions in the parade that work in schools or that you belong to. Difficulties with busing are affecting the jobs of school bus parents. If there is a strike, this effect will increase. Uniting to try and get the ATU contracts resolved without a long strike is worth the effort!

The parade steps off from 44th Street & Fifth Avenue at 10:00AM, marching North to the Grandstand at 64th Street.

If you can be on time, take any train to 42nd Street (but B, D, F, M, 7 are closest if running normally).

Otherwise plan to arrive further uptown where you can wait for the parade / our contingent to reach you. Even if there are barriers you can usually get someone to open it for you to enter when we wave you in.
